Employment ·  
I am a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. Before coming to Edinburgh, I was a Mellon postdoctoral fellow in Natural Language Semantics and Pragmatics in the Department of Philosophy at Carnegie Mellon University

Research ·  
My primary areas of research are philosophy of language, formal semantics and pragmatics, but I am interested in a variety of related fields such as (formal) epistemology, philosophical logic, metaethics, and philosophical methodology. Background ·  
I completed my PhD in philosophy at the Arché Research Centre at the University of St Andrews under the supervision of Herman Cappelen, Jonathan Schaffer, and Josh Dever. During my PhD, I was also fortunate to have the pleasure of working with Hans Kamp and David I. Beaver. Before my PhD, I did my MA at the University of Copenhagen and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). And before my MA, I did my BA at the University of Copenhagen
